Personal information does not include information that is deidentified, aggregated, publicly available, or lawfully obtained, truthful information that is a matter of public concern.
Although the specific types of personal information we collect about you may vary depending on your use of our Services, in general, we collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers and personal records, including name, email address, phone number, mailing address, IP address, unique personal identifiers (e.g., mobile device identifiers), online identifiers, account name, Social Security Number, driver’s license number, passport number, or other similar identifiers; physical characteristics or description; credit card number, debit card number, or other payment information. This category includes information described under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e).
- Commercial information, including records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
- Internet or other electronic activity information, including browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interactions with our websites, applications, or advertisements.
- Geolocation information.
- Audio, video, or similar information, including audio and video information collected if you interact with us by phone or videoconferencing.
- Demographic information, including age, gender, military service status.
- Professional or employment-related information, including income.
- Financial data. Account names, types, and balances; routing information; transaction history (e.g., payors, payees, amounts, dates, categories); rent reporting information, and other financial planning, goals, and account data. Some of our Services also involve the collection of credit report data. Please review our US Consumer Financial Privacy Notice for more information.

- Inferences reflecting preferences, characteristics, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes drawn from other personal information we collect.
- Biometric information. In limited circumstances, our Services incorporate identify verification technologies that help to confirm your identity and help prevent fraud. This includes collecting a copy of your government-issued identification and a photo you provide, and using biometric analysis to match your photo to your government-issued identification. This feature, supported by a trusted vendor, creates a facial scan of each image and compares your physical characteristics, such as eye color and other facial features, to confirm your identity.
- Sensitive personal information. The categories of personal information described above include the following, which are classified as sensitive under some privacy laws: Social Security Number; driver’s license, state identification card, or passport number; biometric information; and financial account information together with an access code, password, or credentials allowing access to an account. We do not use your sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Sources From Which We Collect Personal Information
We collect personal information from a variety of sources, including: directly from you (for example, when you sign up for an account with us); from our affiliates, business partners, service providers, or third parties; from referrals to our Services; when we generate information linked to you (for example, if we provide you with a login or user ID, create inferences about your use of our Services, or otherwise generate information linked to you); and through technologies used on our Services (such as cookies, pixels, and other tracking technologies). In some instances, you may be able to choose what information to provide, but sometimes we require certain information from you to use features of our Services.
- Information you provide directly to us. In providing the Services, we may ask that you provide certain information about yourself. The exact information we need to collect will depend on the purpose and type of Services requested.
- Information we collect from others. Our service providers collect personal information on our behalf to provide their services to us—for example, to provide communications, security, cloud-based data storage, hosting, advertising, marketing, analytics, and other support. Each of our affiliated companies may also obtain personal information from parent, subsidiary, and affiliate companies within the Kikoff group. In some circumstances, we may obtain personal information about you from third parties, such as banking partners or other financial institutions, advertising networks, social networks, and data brokers. To prevent fraud, verify your identity, and secure accounts, we may obtain information about your mobile service from your wireless carrier, such as your subscriber data (including mobile number, name, address, email, network status, customer type, customer role, billing type, mobile device identifiers (IMSI and IMEI) and other subscriber and device details). Some of our Services include features supported by identity verification providers that allow you to sign up using publicly available information or information about you maintained by third parties.
- Information we collect automatically. We collect some types of personal information automatically when you use our Services. For example, we use cookies and other tracking technologies (such as web beacons) to collect and store information about your interactions with our websites, including information about your browsing behavior.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and other tracking technologies (such as pixels/web beacons and software development kits) to collect and store information about your interactions with our websites, including information about your browsing behavior. Our websites also support third-party tracking technologies placed by our service providers and advertising partners.
Cookies are small files that a website transfers to your device through a web browser that enable the site’s or a third party’s systems to recognize your device and capture and remember certain information. Web beacons (also known as tracking pixels) are tiny graphics embedded invisibly on a webpage or in an email that may be used to deliver or communicate with cookies, to count users who have visited certain pages, and to understand usage patterns. In general, our websites use cookies and other tracking technologies as follows:
- Where necessary to run our websites
- To optimize the functionality of our websites, including by personalizing content for you, greeting you by name, pre-filling forms for you, and remembering your preferences (e.g., your choice of language or location)
- For purposes of targeting ads and marketing. These cookies collect information about your browsing behavior on our websites to show you relevant advertising and support our marketing initiatives.
- For analytics purposes. For example, to help us understand how our websites are used, to see what products most interest you, and to determine how best to market our products to you. More information on website analytics is provided below.
Cookies vary in how long they last. “Session cookies” terminate shortly after you terminate your internet session. “Persistent cookies” are stored on your device until a set expiration date. We use both session cookies and persistent cookies on our websites.
You may set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie. Many web browsers also allow you to block cookies. You can disable cookies on your device by following the instructions on your browser or at www.youradchoices.com.
Website Analytics
Our websites use analytics technology, including Google Analytics, to support the operation and performance of our online Services and to analyze your interactions and experiences with our Services. Google Analytics uses cookies and other identifiers to collect information, such as how often users visit a website, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other websites they visited prior to visiting our websites. For information about Google’s privacy practices, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy. Information about Google Analytics’ browser opt-out tool is available here. In some cases, we may integrate the analytics services we use with certain advertising services that are made available by our analytics providers and other partners.
Session Monitoring
Some of the technologies used on our Services allow us and our service providers to monitor and analyze how visitors use our Services in order to better understand user behavior and improve our Services. When you interact with us online, information related to your browsing behavior such as your clicks, mouse movements and keystrokes, as well as browser and device information such as your IP address, screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), geographic location, and preferred language may be collected by us and our service providers. Microsoft is a vendor we use for session monitoring. For information on how Microsoft Clarity collects and uses personal information, please review the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Targeted Advertisements
Our Services collect information about you in order to target advertisements to you when you browse the internet or use social media. For example, we use the Meta Pixel and Google Ads to provide you with relevant targeted advertisements on other websites. You may visit Meta’s and Google’s websites to learn more about each platform’s advertising practices and options you may have to manage how they collect and use your personal information. To learn about the data Google Ads collects or to opt out, please visit here. To change your privacy and advertising settings with Facebook, login to your Facebook account and navigate to your account settings. You can find options to adjust which ads you see, including options to control Meta’s collection of data about activity outside of Facebook. You can manage advertising preferences for some of the other external parties we work with to serve advertising across the internet by utilizing the choices at www.aboutads.info/choices. Additional options for opting out of interest-based advertising can be found at optout.networkadvertising.org. Please click here for information on how to opt out of targeted advertising, sales, and sharing of personal information under applicable state privacy laws.
Do Not Track
Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference signal that users can set in some web browsers, allowing users to opt out of tracking by websites and online services. Currently, our websites do not respond to DNT signals. Our websites recognize the Global Privacy Control signal where required under applicable privacy law, as described in further detail below.

Additional Information for Specific Products and Services
US Consumer Financial Privacy Notice
This Notice provides disclosures for customers and consumers who use our consumer financial services. In the event of a conflict between this Notice and any other policy, statement, or notice, this Consumer Financial Privacy Notice will prevail as to Nonpublic Personal Information covered by the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act (“GLBA”). Any terms defined in the GLBA have the same meaning when used in this Notice.
Artificial Intelligence Services
Some of our Services use artificial intelligence (“AI”) tools, including generative AI, machine learning, and related technologies. For example, the AI tools offered through our Services include:
- AI-based credit monitoring, which tracks changes to credit, obtains monthly credit reports from all three credit bureaus, and provides credit improvement tips.
- Fynn, an AI-powered financial coaching tool that provides personalized insights, recommendations, and guidance to help you make good credit and financial decisions.
- Kikoff’s AI debt negotiation, which helps you identify and negotiate debt-reduction and consolidation offers.
Some of the AI tools available through our Services rely on third-party large language models. The data handling and training practices of those providers are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which may permit use of input for model improvement in certain circumstances. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of our AI infrastructure providers. The AI tools available on our Services are not intended to provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
In addition to the AI services described above, we may use AI to analyze how our Services are used and interacted with, or to process certain content our customers send or display through the Services, including by conducting data analytics to develop insights about your use of the Services, needs, and preferences, so we can make more informed predictions, recommendations, and improve our products and Services. We also provide interactive AI tools that can help you use our Services, including chat bots. When you interact with our AI tools, you are interacting with our generative AI platforms and not a live person. Some of these tools are supported by our vendors that may have access to information you provide through the tool. Please understand that information, prompts, output, or suggestions provided by AI tools may be inaccurate, incorrect, or incomplete. We will not use AI-powered tools to subject you to decisions based solely on automated decision-making that have a significant impact on you without providing additional notice, as appropriate.
Plutonus Services
- AI Assistants You Connect. The core purpose of Plutonus is to let you connect third-party AI assistants—such as Claude and ChatGPT—to your financial data using the Model Context Protocol “(MCP”). When a connected AI assistant requests data, we transmit the requested read-only financial data to that assistant according to your directions. Those assistants are provided by independent third parties and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. The assistant may transmit your data to its own model providers and infrastructure to generate responses, according to those third-parties’ terms and privacy policies. You can revoke their access at any time through the Service.
- Native AI Features and Model Providers. Where the Plutonus Service itself uses large language model (“LLM”) technology, relevant financial data may be included in the context sent to our LLM providers in order to generate responses. Your financial data is processed transiently to generate responses and is not retained by our own infrastructure for model-training purposes. Our third-party LLM providers are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which may permit use of inputs for model improvement in certain circumstances; where available, we configure those services to opt out of training on your data. Some of our other Services, including Grant Money, incorporate native AI features that use LLMs trained on personal information we collect.
- execute_sql Query Logging. When you or a connected assistant run a query through Plutonus’s execute_sql tool, we log the query text and the number of rows it returns for safety, abuse prevention, and debugging. We do not log the query results or the financial-data values they contain. These logs are retained for up to 90 days, after which they are automatically and permanently deleted. If you delete your account before they expire, they are anonymized for the remainder of the 90-day window. Other Plutonus account data are retained for 30 days following closure of your account.
Notice of Financial Incentive for Users in California

In some cases, participation requires you to provide your personal information, including identifiers, personal records, commercial information, demographic information, internet or other electronic network activity, and inferences. Each app and individual rewards offer may have specific terms and rules. Please review the terms provided when you sign up for each offer for additional details.

The Catch app includes a variety of game offers that allow you to earn rewards when you play third-party game apps.
Value of Financial Incentive. The value of the financial incentives available to you varies based on the nature of the offer and the value each third-party partner places on your survey response, game play, or other participation. The rewards offered take into consideration, without limitation, estimates regarding the anticipated revenue generated from such information, the anticipated expenses which might be incurred in the collection, storage, and use of such information, and market conditions. The monetary value of each reward is displayed within the Service when you click to participate.
Right to Withdraw. You can choose to withdraw from the financial incentives at any time. You may withdraw by declining to participate in any additional offerings and app(s)s. You can also choose to delete your personal information; however, if you delete your personal information, we will be unable to link your rewards to your account, and therefore you will lose rewards and offers that have accrued.
Third Party Websites and Services
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites and services, including social media buttons that link to social media platforms, connections that provide access to mobile games, applications, or websites developed and operated by third parties, and offers from third parties (e.g., loans or merchant cash-back offers). When you consent to receive offers from third parties through our Services, Kikoff will share your information with such third parties. When you click a link on our Services that leads you to a third-party website, application, or platform, you are leaving our Services. We also rely on third-party large language models to support some of the AI tools available on our Services, as explained in more detail here. Some features of our Services are integrated with services provided by Plaid. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that your data and information will also be treated in accordance with Plaid’s privacy policy, located at https://plaid.com/legal. The Kikoff Privacy Policy does not govern how third parties collect or use personal information, and we do not endorse or have control over their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with before using them or providing your personal information.

If you are using our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that information we obtain about you will be processed in jurisdictions other than your own, including the United States, and may be accessed by the courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities in those jurisdictions. By using our Services, you acknowledge and consent to the international transfer and processing of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. Please be aware that the data protection laws and regulations that apply to your personal information transferred to the United States or other countries may be different from the laws in your country of residence.
